Indian Sweet Recipes In Bakery

A. Chicoti


Refined flour   150gm
Butter     50 gm
Icing sugar ( powder sugar) 70gm


B. Gajjar Halwa

   Ingredient                                  Quantity

1. Carrot                                               1 kg

2. Sugar                                              6-7 tbsp

3. Milk                                               1-1/5 litre

4. Butter                                              6-7 tbsp

5. Dry fruits                                     as required

    Cashew                                               -

    Raisins                                                -





    Method

1. Wash, peel and grate all the carrots.

2. Simmer heat milk with cardamom and sugar until liquid evaporates.

3. Put butter in the thick bottom utensil and heat it.

4. Put into the grated carrots and cook little.

5. Put the heated milk into carrot through sieve.

6. After sometime add all dry fruits as little cut pieces.

7. Cook 30-40 minutes and get reddish colour, sweet aroma.

8. Serve it hot with hot plat.

9. It is originated form Panjab and mostly eat in winter.

C. Kheer

    Ingredient                                     Qantity

1. Rice                                                50 gm

2. Sugar                                              50 gm

3. Milk                                                1 litre

4. Dry fruits                                    as required

    Almonds                                         30 gm

    Cashew                                           30 gm

    Raisins                                            30 gm

    Green cardamom                            10 gm

    Saffron                                         as required



    Method

1. Take a sauce pan and heat with a little water.

2. Pour milk remaining water.

3. Wash rice and place into milk.

4. Boil at simmer flame till rice cooked.

5. Cut fry fruits and take into sauce pan.

6. Saffron add just before off flame.

7. Serve it hot and garnish with saffron and dry fruits.
