  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Onion studded with bay leaf and clove
  • Seasoning

  • Method:

  • Boil milk with cloute (onion studded with bay leaf and clove).
  • Strain milk and keep for cool.
  • Melt butter in thick bottom pan and add equal quantity of flour, this mixture called roux. cook it on the gentle fire without colouring till it get a sandy texture.
  • Pour the cold milk into the roux stirring with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps.
  • Gentle cook for around one to one & one half  and remove the studded onion .
